General Rules
Each player is dealt 2 private cards face down, and then 5 shared community cards are dealt face up. The goal is to make your best 5 card poker hand using any combination of these 7 cards.
How the cards are dealt
Hole Cards:
All players are dealt 2 private cards face-down.
Betting Round 1 occurs.
The Flop:
3 community cards are dealt face up on the center of the table. All players can use these cards.
Betting Round 2 occurs.
The Turn:
A 4th community card is dealt face up. Betting Round 3 occurs.
The River:
The 5th and final community card is dealt face up.
Betting Round 4 occurs.
The Showdown:
All remaining players show their hands and the best hand wins. In the case of a tie the pot is split.
Dealer Button:
The dealer button is a white token that moves clockwise around the table each hand, designating one player as sitting in the dealer position. (They're not actually dealing)
Blind Buttons:
Blinds, like antes, are required bets posted by two players before each hand is dealt (this rotates). The player to the left of the button posts the "small blind," (1/2 of the "big blind"). The player to the left of the small blind posts the "big blind" (size varies)
Types of Texas Hold 'Em:
Limit Hold 'Em
- Bets and raises during the first two betting rounds (Pre-flop and Flop) must equal the big blind; this amount is called the "small bet."
- In the next two betting rounds (Turn and River), bets and raises must equal twice the big blind; this amount is called the "big bet."
- In each betting round, players can re-raise a maximum of 3 times.
- Blind amounts will not change, and players can join or quit the game after one hand is finished.
No Limit Hold 'Em
- Players may bet or raise any amount over the minimum raise (twice the minimum bet) up to all of their chips (an "all-in" bet).
- There is no limitation on the number of re-raises.
- Blind amounts will not change, and players can join or quit the game after one hand is finished.
Tournament No Limit Hold 'Em
- Players may bet or raise any amount over the minimum raise (twice the minimum bet) up to all of their chips (an "all-in" bet).
- There is no limitation on the number of re-raises.
- Blind amounts increase each new hand.
- New players cannot join ongoing games, and players cannot quite until they either lose all of their chips or win.
In Game Controls
You may choose from the following actions when it is not your turn to bet:
- Check Only: Place no bet. (You can only check if all previous players checked) If another player bets you will be required to choose a new action for the current round.
- Call Any: Match any bet that is made by a player acting before your turn.
- Check / Fold: Choosing this action will either check if all other players check or fold if another player bets. (Folding means you are out until the next hand is dealt)
- Fold: Throw away your cards and quit this hand.
You may choose from the following actions when it is your turn to bet:
- Call: Match the current bet.
- Raise: Increase the bet. (then all players must match your bet)
- Check: Place no bet. (You can only check if all previous players checked)
- Fold: Quit this hand. (you are out until the next hand is dealt)
- All In: Bet the remainder of your chips.
During no-limit play when you raise you choose from the following options:
- Slider: Set the amount you would like to bet.
- +: Increase the bet.
- -: Decrese the bet.
- OK: Confirm the raise amount.
- Cancel: Do not raise.
- All In: Bet all the chips you have available at the table.
Sitting out
- Sit Out: This button will allow you to sit out of up to five hands, after five hands you will be kicked from the table.
Get Chips
- Get Chips: This button will be available to use in between hands, during play it is unavailable. Click this button to exchange you gems for more chips at the table.
Bonus Payouts
There are 3 ways to get bonus chips while playing QQ Texas Hold 'Em Poker.
- 200 chip bonus for every day you login and play.
- 200 chip bonus after 10 consecutive hands are played at the same table.
- Up to 150x big blind or up to 10x tournament buy-in for any hand four of a kind or better. (refer to the table below for details)

Hand Rankings
Hands in Texas Hold 'Em consist of 5 cards with standard poker rankings. The ranking of hands in QQ Texas Hold 'Em Poker is shown below from best (top left) to worst (bottom right).
Individual cards are ranked A (high), K, Q, J, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, A. (Aces only appear low when part of an A-2-3-4-5 straight or straight flush)
Suits have no value. If players have identical hands, except for the suit, they split the pot.
Tournament Rules
- All tournaments are No Limit games.
- Tournaments are played with a minimum of 6 players and a maximum of 10.
- The buy-in depends on the room that you enter and starts at $1000 chips.
- The average tournament lasts between 2 and 3 hours depending on the players.
Blind Increases
Blinds increase each round, and a round is counted when the dealer button circles the table. Rounds typically last from 20 to 30 minutes.
