Starting a Game
Click the Start button on the lower right corner of the game window to play. The game will not begin until the other players at the table have clicked start.
Practice Mode:
To practice without other live players, click the Practice button. In Practice mode you do not earn or lose gems.
General Instructions
Choosing Maps & Difficulty:
Before the game begins you can choose what map configuration you would like to play. Also, set the difficulty level of the game.
Clearing Bricks:
Click 2 matching bricks and they will be removed. Whoever clears their board first wins.
Valid Matches:
A match is valid if a line could be drawn connecting the 2 matching bricks that turns no more than 3 times. Neither bricks should have other bricks on top.
Time Limit:
You have 30 seconds to make each match. If you fail to make a match within 30 seconds you lose.
Special Items
Game Items have special powers you can use on yourself or opponent to gain an advantage.
Use the BLUE ITEMS on yourself or your teammates. Attack your opponents with the RED ITEMS.
Earning Items
Some of the tiles on your board are orange. These tiles contain Game Items. If you clear the tiles containing these Items you earn the Item and it is place in your My Items menu.
Using Items
Using Items on Yourself:
To use an Item on yourself just click on the Item with your mouse in your "MY ITEMS" list. Following are the items you can use on yourself:
Locate - Automatically locate a match
Shuffle - Rearrange all your bricks
Explode - Automatically make a match
Using Items on Opponents:
To use an item on your opponent, click on the Item with your mouse then click on the photo or name of your target opponent. Following are the items you can use on opponents:
Forbid - Freeze opponents (5 sec.)
Blindfold - Cover opponent's board (5 sec.)
Reverse - Reverse opponent's bricks
Obstruct - Add 12 bricks to opponents
Time Out - Shorten time (5 sec.)
Winning
The first player, or team, to clear their board wins.
Losing
If another player or team clears all of the tiles from their board first you lose. Additionally, if you run out of the 30 second countdown to make each match you lose.
Quitting Early
When a player quits a game early, they automatically lose the game, and are penalized by losing an additional 10 gems.
Preferences
Check or uncheck the boxes to change your preferences settings, and make sure the changes are saved.
